Olga Oreshnikov lives and works in Israel, having come from one of the most artistic backgrounds imaginable. One grandfather having been the Rector of St. Petersburg Academy and the other being a Professor of Music and famous composer, her parents and all her close family are artists of one sort or another. Her elaborate portraits, Medieval in style, have a tenderness and intimacy which have an almost mesmeric quality.
