Taisa was born in 1922 in Odessa, and attended the Repin Institute of Painting during 1940-1947.
Throughout her working life, she accepted many commissions to paint murals in hotels and restaurants and also designed a number of stained glass windows. In addition, her work was often turned into textile designs.
This collection of work was completed between 1983 and 1985, and she called the series ‘Fantastic Still Life’.
