Julia Valtsefer Biography

Julia Valtsefer was born in St Petersburg in to a family of artists . In 1987 she graduated from the Repin Academy of Arts in St Petersburg.  She has participated in more than 60 exhibitions and her work is in many private collections in Germany, Portugal, the USA ,France, Brazil and the UK.
Her palette of vibrant oil is used in a tapestry of shapes and forms that weave timeless portraits and vistas of dreams like gardens which we would all like to inhabit. She injects depth and a sensory perception of her subjects that delights the eye, and the serenity of her own character is conveyed from her work to the viewer.
