I was born in Hong Kong and moved to the United Kingdom in 1970. I have been travelling around the world ever since, painting and exhibiting while living in New Zealand, Sudan, Tanzania, Pakistan, South Korea, Egypt and Bosnia & Herzegovina. I am now living in London with my family. I studied traditional Chinese painting and calligraphy in Hong Kong which I developed further during four years in Korea. I then studied art and design in London. My work ranges from abstract expressionistic to quirky townscapes, inspired by my travelling and my love for old towns. I have a unique style mixing both traditional and contemporary methods, combining drawing, painting and collage which often results in unusual interpretations of familiar subjects. I have held solo exhibitions in Seoul, Cairo, Alexandria, Sarajevo, Florida and New York as well as numerous exhibitions around the UK.
