I am an artist that works across a range of disciplines, from my purpose-built garden studio surrounded by the nature that inspires me. I trained as a textile designer and my love of colour and pattern flows through my current body of work. Printmaking has been at the centre of my practice for many years, both on fabric and paper, and this continues as I develop my current mixed media approach. Combining print with painting to create representational and sometimes whimsical works on linen and paper, with the natural world and the environment are very much at their heart. The natural world has been a constant source of inspiration and a lifelong passion, from the wild hedgerows to my garden filled with wildlife. Developing this body of work I aim to raise awareness of our many beautiful and endangered native species alongside more colourful subjects beyond these shores. My work is held in private collections in the UK, Europe, New Zealand and Japan.
