Susan Evans is a Brighton, UK based artist working in oils. The 2000 winner if the national Peterborough First Open prize, she has shown prolifically in England and Holland since leaving the Chelsea College of Art in London.
She has had solo art exhibitions at Francis Iles, Rochester, in London, Bath and Brighton and group shows in Cornwall and the Royal Festival Hall, London as well as taking part in many art fairs including the Chelsea Art Fair and Bath Art Fair.
Her work is collected internationally by institutions such as Exeter College in Oxford, the Peterborough Museum and Live Wire in California.
Her atmospheric skyscapes capture the drama and romance of moving clouds. The fleeting moment encapsulated by colour, transfixed across the canvas.
