Born in Gravesend, Graham Pook is a professional artist living in Scotland. Having established himself as a landscape painter, Graham has slowly moved away from the representational and finds himself irresistibly drawn towards expressionism.
Atmosphere and radiance are the essential elements that Graham pursues in his painting, making his work instantly recognisable and much sought after. Calm and reflective, his paintings tap into a deeper source of self-expression and emotion, abandoning the common place and every day of the less tangible and arcane. For this process he relies upon intuition, instinct and serendipity.
Working almost exclusively in oils, Graham’s paintings can be found in galleries throughout Scotland and England, as well as in private collections at home and abroad including H.R.H. The Duke of Edinburgh.
