We have found that in Mid Winter many of our clients turn to the Own Art Scheme and we expect this to increase this year as many clients seem to be investing in pictures that “lift  their hearts” but which they hope will appreciate, this rather than relying on savings schemes whilst current savings rates are so low.

The Own Art Loans scheme allows you to buy a work of art up to £2000 on 0% interest over 10 months. Since the paperwork usually takes a month to approve, you effectively get 11 months free of interest, with no payment  until month two!
